JOB SUMMARY: 1. DBA to provide operational support for Oracle 11g/10g/12c databases running Oracle based Applications 2. Monitor and fine tune database and relevant applications to optimize stability and performance 3. Perform Applications and database administration functions (i.e. administration, patch upgrades, patch mgmt., monitoring and troubleshooting etc.). 4. Perform System Cloning of the ERP to the Test environments 5. Apply mandatory patches for the Database and the relevant applications 6. Manage Concurrent Managers, Forms/Report Servers, Web Servers, registration of reports and forms 7. Installs, upgrades and maintains the application suite, the DataBases 8. Develops and implements the technical procedures, standards and security for the Applications/ databases 9. Manages, Monitors and troubleshoots security and performance issues of the database and the relevant apps. 10. Experience in the complete Systems recovery of Oracle ERP 11. Establish, Implement and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures using the technology of the databases and the tools implemented for backups 12. Identify root cause of application/database performance issues, 13. Performance and fine tuning for optimal performance, including all the tiers of the system.. 14. Perform core DBA duties ( Backup/Restores, DB Maintenance, security patches, rac/grid implementations and maintenance etc. ). 15. Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support 16. Deploy the approved changes to the Production Systems 17. Write database procedures, functions and triggers 18. Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, and production usage. 19. Creates and Manages Tickets with Oracle Support 20. Troubleshoots with apps teams problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools. 21. Knowledge of AD Utilities, Toad 22.
