Job Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Key responsibilities as a Project Manager
- Works with the client’s Project Manager to plan and execute the project efficiently, within the time, scope, and allocated budget.
- Performs detailed project planning and management.
- Plans for resources and / or other expert resources.
- Manages and resolves project issues and mitigates risks.
- Assesses impact of changes to system requirements and processes change requests according to procedures.
- Submits project progress reports to the needed and predefined stakeholders.
- Ensures the flow of information and manages communication within the project team and users/stakeholders.
- Ensures the proper execution of the project budget while controlling the scope and maintaining consistent updates and revisions of the project schedule and resources
- Follows-up on needed Sign-offs on the project deliverables and major milestones.
- Plans and manages needed resources and ensures their availability and timely response per the agreed upon detailed project plan.
- Plans workshops and coordinates with the needed participants according to the project plan.
- Facilitate and assist as needed with all major analysis workshops and testing activities to get awareness on the project knowledge areas and ensures effectiveness of such activities.
- Serves as a member of the Project Management Steering Committee.
- Performs quality control on project deliverables using Quality Assurance standards and as per the Quality Management Plan.
- Assesses project health and communicates status within the project team and with stakeholders.
- Documents all aspects of the project deliverables, communication, milestones, risks, changes, etc.
