Job Description:
Administrator is responsible for configuring, administering, and tuning all components of the Enterprise One system. Principal regular duties include package deployments, production support, and technical delivery for project and release work. The ideal candidate must have technical expertise in JDE Enterprise One (9.2) system administration as well as a strong working knowledge of supporting technologies such as Oracle SQL, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), and Oracle Application Server (OAS). The CNC Administrator will work collaboratively with the development staff, business analysts, compliance department, support staff, and others to effectively deliver business solutions while maintaining high system availability and performance.
Core Responsibilities:
• Full installation experience of JD Edwards Enterprise One system including Enterprise Server, Deployment Server, and Web Server.
• Installs and manages Enterprise One Service Packs, Tools Releases, Current ESUs, ASUs, and other fixes as appropriate
• Overall administration of the JDE CNC environment
• New Environment Creation and Maintenance including OCM mappings and Data source management.
• Assemble, build, and deploy update and full packages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve JDE application and server issues.
• Apply and test Tools Releases, ESUs, ASUs, updates and Service Pack upgrades.
• Execute OMW promotion and related activities.
• Experience in integrating JD Edward Enterprise One with other applications.
• Plan and implement backup/restore strategy for JDE applications and the back-end Oracle database.
• Perform CNC Activities like Security, Package build Deployment, Object Migration workbench
• Performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting
• User and user security management/maintenance (Application, Action, Row, Column, Processing Option and Solution Explorer) and User Menu creation.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation
