This is a senior management position within the project management office and will work closely with the PM and FTLs and project stakeholders of the ERP project. This individual contributing role at Senior management level where he should carry a very good experience in the business field such as Sales or Inventory and will be responsible for directing, organizing and controlling Divisions Super users and Key users and functional consultant's project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager (PM). Client Details large distribution/retail group in Doha-Qatar Description Contribute to the long term strategic planning by introducing long term improvement plans for the tracks and ERP systems · Provides inputs and decisions towards the short term strategic planning for the projects he is involved in · Participates in the implementation of short term strategic goals of the Operations department Provide unified Master data components, having impact over all divisions. E.g master items, char of accounts, supplier master, customer master etc. formulate committee and sessions, where needed · Project progress reporting · Weekly progress meeting and reporting the track status, issues and risks · Introduce solutions to the track issues and provide risk analysis and mitigation · Internal team meeting under the Project Manager and presenting the status of the functional track · Status reporting to the next level · Gain knowledge transfer from ERP implementation team · Get fully equipped with newly built system and take ownership for respective functional track · Review Deliverables (Documents) and get these reviewed and signed by key users. 1. Job Purpose § The primary function of the Sr. Oracle Developer role is to effectively deliver Oracle applications technical requirements for several modules of the Oracle Release R12 e-Business suite or later, in order to provide an integrated information system solution to Rawabi Businesses. 2. Principal Accountabilities § Reporting to the Business Transformation Unit Head, the Oracle ERP Technical Consultant will provide expertise and knowledge in the technical side of the Oracle Release R12 e-Business suite or Later. § Work as a technical consultant in the Oracle Applications practice involving designing & developing of reports and forms for various modules of the Oracle Apps. § Preparation of documentation such as MD 050/MD070 for Customizations. § Data migration for All Modules (Finance/Supply Chain & HRMS). § Write Interfaces for Oracle Applications modules, XML Publisher, Oracle Discoverer, OA Frame work etc. in co-ordination with the functional consultants. § Advanced knowledge of working in Oracle Applications, integration interface designing, cross platform data migration, web services design and HTML Development. § Design and develop the code for component (RICE) as per the requirement specified in functional requirement specification. § Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater the user requirements. § Document the application extension technical design documents based on the AIM approach. § Review the documents / deliverables delivered by the Implementation Vendor team. § Perform in-house trainings for users and IT team on an as needed basis. § Work with Oracle Support when needed to ensure system is running smoothly. § Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, to include Requirements Gathering & Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, and Implementation. § Assist, coach, and mentor other engagement team members on technical issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of solutions. § Actively participate in the troubleshooting phase once the product has gone "live". § Develops and documents Rawabi's expertise, know-how, controls, and capabilities within the Oracle ERP. § Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager 3.
