Position: Oracle DBA
Client Details : Leading client Place in Abudhabi, UAE.
Payroll Company: Raqmiyat.
Contract Duration: 12 Months Renewable Contract.
Job Description:-
1) DBA to provide operational support for Oracle 11g/12c databases running on Oracle ERP 12.2.
2) Incident / Problem determination and resolution on incident basis.
3) Monitor and fine tune database and relevant applications to optimize stability and performance.
4) Perform Application and database administration functions (i.e administration, patch upgrades, patch management, monitoring and troubleshooting etc.).
5) Perform system cloning of the ERP to the TEST, DEV & UAT environments.
6) Apply mandatory patches for the Database and the relevant applications.
7) Manage concurrent managers, Forms/Report servers. Web Servers, registration of report and forms..
8) Installation, upgrade and maintains the application suite, the Databases.
9) Develops and implements the technical procedures, standards and security for the Applications/ databases.
10) Manages, monitors and troubleshoots security and performance issues of the database and the relevant apps.
11) Experience in the complete systems recovery of Oracle ERP.
12) Establish, implement and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures using the technology of the database and the tolls implemented for backup.
13) Experience in Oracle utilities such as autoconfig, adpatch, adadmin, adpreclone, import/export. FND tools, etc.
14) Identify root cause of application / database performance issues.
15) Performance and fine tuning for optimal performance, including all the tiers of the system.
16) Perform core DBA duties (Backup/Restores, DB Maintenance, security patches, RAC/GRID implementations and maintenance etc.)
17) Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
18) Deploy the approved changes to the production systems.
19) Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.
20) A good working knowledge of the operating system (Linux/windows)
21) Knowledge of MS SQL.
