The IT Director will play a critical role in managing the Information Technology Services department and participate in the development of long term strategies to support the research and instructional activities of the institution. Profile - Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science.- Extensive technical experience in a Senior IT management role demonstrating the ability to perform effective supervision of systems and people.- PMP or other IT professional certifications is an advantage- Successful track record in managing the implementation of projects in an educational environment within a fixed time frame.- Experience with Oracle applications.- Knowledge of PeopleSoft student information systems.- Hands-on/proactive approach and an ability to work with tight deadlines and within constraints.- Ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritize activities.- Experience in managing supplier relationships.
